BEAUTY BAR: Hey Ombré!

We all know the traditional cat-eye eyeliner look that everyone is wearing, or what some people can’t seem achieve. Sometimes just a classic black line can be a little traditional, and sometimes it can be boring. A way to make the classic cat-eye pop is to use color. For instance, this Fashionista is rocking the ombré liner that goes from light purple to dark purple!

This look is easy to achieve by following the line of your natural eyelid with a lighter color from the front of the eye, then extending a darker color a little further past the end of the eye. This colorful look is simple but makes any color eye pop, especially using purple on green eyes! You can use any two colors that you want, one darker and one lighter. A tip to know is that purple colors complement green eyes.

This Fashionista paired the eye look with a light pink lip. The light pink adds a sweet touch to the look, while also matching the T-shirt dress which is what she paired with the look. Adding two different colors on the face complements the tie-dye dress, making it a bright, colorful and girly look! This Fashionista’s shoes are sandals with a bit of spikes on the back adding a little edge to this girly look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? A way to recreate this look is to get yourself gel eyeliner or a pencil liner, preferably colored. You can choose the colors, but to achieve the ombré look, you will need a light color and a darker color. Some brands that sell colored gel liner and colored pencil eyeliner are Anastasia Beverly Hills, Urban Decay and Sephora.
