Being a college student, we need ways to carry around our class essentials. Some of us carry our things in totes, others in bookbags or some do a mixture of both (like me).
However, this week we are going to focus solely on book bags, backpacks, knapsacks or whatever you may call them. Backpacks have always been used in school, but recently they have become full-on trendy outfit accessories. Some Fashionistas/os decide to match their outfit with their accessories. Others make their backpack the statement piece of their look.
This Fashionista made her backpack the statement element of her ensemble, and I love it! She is sporting an all-black look from head to toe—staying warm with a super dope coat, some simple skinnies and classic booties. The look doesn’t stop there; this Fashionista pulled the whole look together by carrying her tan canvas backpack with dark brown accents and gold hardware that matches, ever so nicely, with her gorgeous watch.
We all know I am a sucker for the black, white and gray tones—the new year hasn’t changed that—however, I do love the pop of smooth coloring here. One could, and can, easily go with a more common color to make an outfit pop, like red or pink, but I like how the tan draws your eye just enough to distract you for a bit without loosing full gaze of the outfit. This whole look is simple and chic, and I love it!
