WHAT TO WEAR: Workout

It’s officially the New Year and you know what that means—New Year’s resolutions are in full effect. When it comes to people making New Year’s resolutions, many people choose to create a healthier lifestyle for themselves, and this involves going to the gym more often.

A lot of people (including me) often dread working out, especially in the cold winter temperatures. The one way to make it a little less brutal is to look cute. The motto that comes to my mind when I think of dressing fashionable for a workout is, “If you look good, you feel good.”

I spotted this Fashionista on her way to our gym on campus. In my opinion, she was definitely dressed stylish for her workout. Every part of her outfit matches perfectly from top to bottom. Her patterned leggings are the perfect amount of style to make her both look good and feel good. They bring a little flavor to her ensemble while not going overboard.

This Fashionista paired these patterned leggings with a plain gray sweatshirt, which was comfy, cute and perfect for a winter workout. She also had on her black and white Nike sneakers, which look great with any outfit since they are neutral colored. Lastly, she threw in a plain black headband to keep those annoying fly-away hairs slicked back. All in all, this outfit was great for any type of workout this Fashionista chose to do.

One Simple Change: Are you planning a long day in the library studying for an exam? Swap out the patterned workout leggings for a pair of plain black ones, and throw on a pair of UGGs to keep comfortable enough to study while still modest enough for the library!
