WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

June 8th, 2015 at 2:00am

There’s nothing like that feeling of walking out of the office on a Friday afternoon. You finally are set free (at least for a couple of days) from a long week and are ready to relax and enjoy a well-deserved weekend. You’ve just about had it with five days in a row of business casual wear, and are ready to spice up your look for the night. One of my first thoughts when stepping through that door into the fresh weekend air is, “What am I going to wear tonight?”

This Fashionista took advantage of the beautiful spring weather last weekend and rocked this adorable ensemble. By pairing simple pieces with rad accessories, she pulled off the perfect fun and laid-back look.

This colorful tank top is a staple for every Fashionista’s wardrobe, especially for the upcoming summer months. They are perfect to jazz up your favorite pair of jeans or solid-colored bottoms. This Fashionista chose to sport a classic pair of white jeans with this top. There are an endless amount of ways that Fashionistas can white jeans this summer. Cropped, ripped and high-waisted are some options just to name a few.

To top off this weekend look, this Fashionista showed off her great taste in accessories. She wore her go-to cognac gladiator sandals that matched perfectly with her fringe bag. There was a significant influx of fringe bags last season in stores, online and on the runway. This trend continues to take place this season with all different variations of color and size.

Finally, my favorite part of this look was this Fashionista’s Tory Burch round sunglasses. This retro style of eyewear has made a major comeback in the fashion world lately. These fun sunnies can be found just about everywhere, from the runway to small boutiques. NASTY GAL has some awesome and affordable round shades for any occasion.

One Simple Change: Do you love this look so much that you want to wear it again to work on Monday? Add a white blazer to this outfit and you’ll be ready for that work grind once again.
