Thank goodness that finals are over. Now it’s time for summer vacation! You know what that means? Sun’s out, dresses out! With the upcoming warm weather, you would most likely see me in dresses. Depending on the occasion, you can always dress them up or down whether it’s fun in the sun or enjoying a nice dinner with an ice cold beverage.
Keeping my eyes open when strolling around campus, I happen to stumble upon this lovely Fashionista wearing a simple chambray shift dress from Abercrombie & Fitch. Even though it was chilly out, she was able to work the outfit by simply adding a light oversized cardigan from American Eagle Outfitters. Summer vacation should always include an awesome pair of shades. What better kind of shades than some nice aviators from Nordstrom? My favorite part about this outfit were the shoes. I actually have the same pair of Steve Madden slip-on sneakers but in grey. They are very versatile with different outfits. Her’s were in nude and I love it!
Campus is always fun with summer styles. I look forward to the break coming to an end in a week and the summer quarter beginning. You may wonder why? I am able to capture more Fashionistas out and about around campus. The sun will still be shining, even while taking summer classes. But who cares? It’s summer: Show off that vacation look!
One Simple Change: Living in the Pacific Northwest, it typically rains a lot. So, normally we get creative when it comes to our outfits. For a different occasion idea, go from vacation to girl’s night out; try adding some boots, leather jacket, a scarf and don’t forget the umbrella.
