Summer is the time for pools, bikinis, ice cream with sprinkles, cookouts and catching up with old high school friends. However, as a college student, summer can also mean working, internships or summer classes. In that case, I know most of these things require a certain get-up. And for that reason, I know most of my Fashionista/o’s friends enjoy bringing out those staple pieces in their closet and rocking them under the hot summer sun.
Summer in Champaign, Illinois can get extremely hot and the key to it is to dress appropriately for the weather and this Fashionista made sure to stay breezy with her killer outfit. Kicking it off with this look, our Fashionista is wearing a white mesh crop top that she paired with the most beautiful maxi skirt. The paisley pattern on the skirt is what makes the outfit complete in such a simple way creating a boho vibe. This skirt is a staple piece in her closet. This outfit is ideal for summer, whether it is worn during the day or out at night! Her choices of shoes were spot on as they go perfectly with the color scheme of this outfit. The neutral color of them ties in perfectly giving it more of a casual look.
Finishing off her look by showing off her delicate silver jewelry and a pair of classic Ray-Ban sunglasses. The rings and bracelets she is wearing is a nice touch because it isn’t too much and it doesn’t take away from the pattern of the skirt!
