June 30th, 2015 at 2:00am

It’s officially summer, and everyone is beginning to shed their layers in transition from spring to summer. For many, this summer simply means a break before a new school year. For others, it may mean the transition from school into the workforce. Whether you now have break, school or work, use this summer to experiment outside of your comfort zone and look great doing it.

This Fashionista’s outfit is a great example of how to incorporate different colors, prints and even textures into a summer outfit. She is wearing an American Apparel cropped sunflower tank top and a denim circle skirt. These two pieces are absolutely wonderful for summertime due to the bright colors and fun print on the top and the skirt’s easygoing light wash and comfortable silhouette. She completed the look with comfortable and casual gray Converse sneakers. This Fashionista effectively managed to stay comfortable and on-trend.

Crop tops, circle skirts and sneakers create a very easy outfit for the summertime. There are infinite combinations that you could play around with, and there is sure to be one that fits your style. If where you live causes you to have colder summers, take this Fashionista’s lead and warm up with a knit gray cardigan. This outfit is very versatile and can be manipulated to work for all types of weather and styles.

Save time figuring out what to wear this summer by remembering this recipe for a great but no stress outfit.

One Simple Change: You can work an outfit similar to this one for almost any season. Transition this ensemble into autumn by adding a circle scarf and switching out the sneakers for some knee-high socks and riding boots.
