WHAT TO WEAR: Presentation

Getting up in front of your classmates and peers can be nerve-wracking to say the least. Presentations reflect upon yourself to show what you know and how well you know it. Dressing the part always helps me feel like I am ready to give a great presentation because not only do I feel good about the material that I have learned, but I also look professional and accountable for what I am saying.

You may be thinking: what does one wear for a presentation? If it’s an informal presentation and you don’t have to be in suit and tie attire. This Fashionista shows us a great look that can be easily achieved. I saw this Fashionista get up in front of my fashion advertising class to give a PowerPoint presentation, and I loved what she was wearing. She starts off with some black tights and knee-high socks to keep her warm on this chilly winter day. She also is wearing a loose, oversized T-shirt dress with a burgundy sweater over it. The colors she has chosen look great and really complement her. Her last touch is the tan booties. This outfit looks great and is presentable, especially for an informal presentation.

One Simple Change: This outfit is perfect for going out and getting a couple drinks with some friends on the weekend. To achieve a weekend ready look, switch out the oversized T-shirt for a crop top and add a leather, high-waisted circle skirt to add some style to your night out!
