WHAT TO WEAR: Library

This is the most dreaded time of the semester. Students all across the country at almost all universities are studying for their midterms. This means students only have two priorities: eating and studying. I would normally say sleep, but midterms week just doesn’t allow time for that. So if there’s not even time for sleep how does a Fashionista/o have time to dress fashionably?

Among the students huddled in sweatpants and sweatshirts, it was easy to spot this Fashionista on her way to the library. I was drawn to this Fashionista because she looked comfortable enough to study for hours on end, yet still chic and preppy enough to head to calculus class.

This Fashionista sports the perfect library get-up. Her blue and white pinstriped button-down adds sophistication to the outfit, while her navy blue leggings add comfort. To add depth to the outfit and also warmth, she layered the outfit with a large gray sweater. Gold bracelets and pearl earrings top off the outfit and contribute to her preppy look.

During midterms week, when you can’t even remember what day it is, the last thing you want to do is spend your precious time on picking out an outfit. However, this Fashionista proves that fashion during midterms can be effortless. Throw on a pair of leggings with a large oversized sweater or a cute button-down and you’re ready to spend hours at the library.

One Simple Change: Trade in the leggings for a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans to create a grunge and preppy vibe for class.
