We may not be in school, but the grind needs to continue! As college students, some of us may be working at summer jobs and some of us may be working at summer internships. Our internships prepare us for what we should expect once we are hired for a specific job. They help us make connections with different types of people and learn new skills. This Fashionisto shows how dressing up for an internship gives you that boost of confidence!
Dressings up for an internship is an essential factor in showing your professionalism, confidence and interest in the job. I’m all for an all-black outfit and so is this Fashionisto. He walked into his first day on the job wearing an all-black button-up shirt, pants and leather belt from H&M and Perry Ellis dress shoes. To accentuate the look, he added a striped black tie and a Perry Ellis messenger bag. The messenger bag and the tie send out that message that you’re here to get the job done. This Fashionisto can end his fist day on a positive note!
One Simple Change: Add a black or navy blue suit jacket, and your’e ready to seal the deal at your next interview or even attend a formal gathering with business partners.
