WHAT TO WEAR: Internship

Though most students are not on campus during the summer semester, many do however partake in summer internships. As college students, with regularly busy schedules, we are accustomed to throwing on a comfy T-shirt and gym shorts with our hair in a messy bun on a day-to-day basis. Unfortunately, though, for internships, this is not usually acceptable: wWe need to maintain a professional look while still being somewhat relaxed (and trendy of course).

While this Fashionista is sporting basic black leggings and super versatile nude flats, she paired them with a charming Eiffel tower printed top. The chiffon fashion tank is super airy and the cutouts add a little extra oomph and edge to this outfit. To finish off this look she paired a bold pearl statement bracelet, pearl earrings and a cross-body bag. The bag was recently purchased on her trip to Italy. Having her hair pulled up in this half-up do helps this Fashionista stay cool in the dreaded summer heat, while also maintaining a professional look for her internship. She can keep her hair out of her face during her busy day at work. With a simple and well put together outfit, this Fashionista has managed to look comfortable and adorably professional at the same time.

One Simple Change: Have an interview after your internship and don’t have time to change outfits? Grab a blazer and stash it in your car during the day. Just before your interview, throw it on and you have a new take on an already fantastic outfit. Adding the blazer to this outfit makes it more structured.
