WHAT TO WEAR: Internship

Happy summer Fashionistas! School is finally out, vacations are starting and after months of waiting, it’s warm outside. As the summer kicks off, so do jobs and internships. Putting together an outfit for that first day can be extremely nerve-wracking. When you are interviewing you want to stand out from the other applicants but don’t want to go over the top. A chic, minimalistic look is the perfect way to go. I asked my stylish friend Savannah to put together a look that she would wear to her first day that would also reflect her personal style. With her being a well-known Fashionista around town and a natural in front of the camera, I knew she wouldn’t disappoint.

This navy blue jumpsuit is perfect for making a rad first impression. The V-neck and sleeveless details show her fun personality, while the flared legs are perfectly chic and conservative for the workplace. She says, “Whenever I get dressed in the morning, I make sure I looked presentable enough to totally knock out a job interview.”

She has accessorized perfectly with her gold stud earrings and tan watch. With such an attention grabbing jumpsuit, the jewelry is only an accent to the look. Her peep toe shoes scream summertime. She’s bound to grab attention with their chic design, while her height will express strong confidence in her new position. There’s nothing she can’t accomplish in this outfit.

One Simple Change: Going out after work? Simply changing up the accessories by adding a statement necklace or earrings to this look would easily transform it from day to night. It’s perfect for hitting the town after a long day at work with very little effort.
