WHAT TO WEAR: Greek Life

As college students we all have at least one thing in common—our schedules are packed! On any given day you could be juggling class after class after class, meetings, study sessions or even that trip to the gym you’ve been meaning to take since the beginning of the semester. It seems like there just simply isn’t enough time in the day to get it all done, let alone look stylish doing it. Most days when I leave my apartment I don’t have a spare minute in-between all of my different obligations to go home and make an outfit change. What I have on at 10:00 a.m. is usually the same outfit I have on at 8:00 p.m. This is why finding versatile pieces is so important for Fashionista.

I caught this Fashionista on a Wednesday evening on her way to a sorority meeting after a full day of classes. The focal point of her outfit is her beautiful Free People light gray tunic that draped perfectly over her body. She then strayed away from basic cotton leggings that you see everywhere and edged the outfit up with a pair of leather pants. When it comes to shoes, sporting heels to class may be a little scary for some, but this Fashionista embraced the chunky black bootie trend and rocked them all day long.

She took a little daintier of a route with the accessories and dawned a classic rose gold Michael Kors watch on one arm and a thin gold Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet on the other.

One Simple Change: This Fashionista happened to be heading out on the town following her meeting. A great way to transition an outfit from day to night without having to pack a change of clothes is to play with your lip color and go for a dark purple or maroon for a more sultry look.
