WHAT TO WEAR: Girl's Night Out

June 14th, 2016 at 2:00am

It’s finally the beginning of June and let’s be honestwe’ve all been anticipating summer for a while now! It’s the weekend and your girlfriend’s text you saying, “We are going out tonight, let’s get dolled up!” Your first thought is obviously “YES!” Your second thought: “What do I wear?”

No worries, I’ve got you covered: a girl’s night out is exactly what you need to start off the beginning of your summer just right! Whether you are going out to Tao to grab some dinner or a club like 1 Oak to dance the night away, you can never go wrong with a romper or jumpsuit. The Fashionista pictured is wearing a striped jumpsuit from Urban Outfitters with subtle yet flattering V-neck. The white and baby blue stripes make it easy to work it with the peach bralette underneath. The color contrasting between both pieces is what makes this outfit so great, especially if you’re going for an “I didn’t try too hard” look. She also added a minimal necklace to the look, nothing too big so it won’t be too distracting, but it definitely makes a statementIt’s all about the details!

Soft curls are a must; they’re quick and easy to do especially if you plan to be out all night, and want your hair to look fabulous at all times. Also for accessorizing, this small nude clutch she added from ALDO complements the necklace wonderfully with the gold detailing. For a GNO, it’s always better to have a small clutch than a big bag. Especially if you only plan to carry small essentials (like lip-gloss or money). Last but not least, she paired this outfit with these beautiful cognac colored lace-up heels that are to die for. Cognac is a very trendy color right now, and it can be easily matched with any pop of color to look effortless. You can never go wrong with lace-up shoes!

Overall, this look is great comfortable, chic girl’s night out on the town or at the beach look.

One Simple Change: Planning to spend your day running errands around town? Slip out of the heels and into a pair of platform sandals. Not only would they be comfortable to wear all day but also give you some height without having to sport stilettos. You’d still look casual but still just as trendy!
