Over my 20 years I have learned that the friendships that can stand the test of time are the most valuable. As my junior year of college approaches I have realized that it is not always about the number of friends you have, but the number of people you can count on to be there for you.
Summer is the perfect time to reconnect with these old friends, and what better way to do so than with a girl’s night out. This week’s Fashionista is near and dear to my heart as one of my closest friends. It is fitting that I photographed her outfit after we in fact had an early girl’s night out. When this Fashionista is not capturing moments, she is strutting her style wherever she goes.
Her comfy casual attire is fantastic for any night out. Rain or shine, her black and white look is perfectly paired with a pop of color. On top, she is wearing a simple polka-dot crop top. Her mint green jeans from American Eagle Outfitters are rolled at the ankles to give the outfit a summery vibe. In the summer a pair of black sandals is a must and this Fashionista continues to amaze as she wears this sought after trend. Her pendant necklace and Coach purse polish off this evening look. Whether it’s a sushi date with friends or you’re going to the movies, this outfit complements any girl’s night out or boy’s night out for those Fashionistos.
One Simple Change: Looking to dress up this look for an interview? Exchange the green jeans for a black maxi skirt and tuck the crop top in to convert it into a dress. Add a belt around the waist and you are good to go!
