WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

You finally have a day off from your summer internship, and you already know It’s going to be “one of those days” because your to-do list is never-ending. Your gas tank is full, you’re all set to run all over town and you’re determined to check everything off your list before the sun sets. Sometimes 24 hours in a day just doesn’t seem like it’s going to cut it, but with your Venti Extra Dirty Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks in hand, you feel unstoppable!

I caught this Fashionista wearing the most perfect outfit for running errands. She kept it simple, yet creative by pairing a black tank top with trendy maroon shorts. Colored shorts are so much fun to wear and it’s a nice change from your usual go-to jean shorts. But the way this Fashionista accessorized really caught my eye. On one wrist she flaunts her Alex and Ani initial bracelet and an elegant Fossil watch with a tan colored wraparound leather strap. This Fossil watch is absolutely gorgeous and a definite must-have for any jewelry drawer. On the other wrist was her Lokai bracelet, a Pandora bracelet full of charms and her Garmin Vivofit. The Vivofit tracks all of her fitness activities including her daily step count. And let’s be honest, with a full day of running errands ahead of her, she already knows that her daily step goal is going to be a piece of cake…mmmm. Make sure you are good to yourself and celebrate your errand running accomplishments with a savory treat, like cake!

One Simple Change: So maybe your errands only occupy half of your day while going to school takes up the other half, but you don’t have time to go home and change. No problem. This outfit is completely acceptable for the classroom too, just throw on a light jacket or cardigan because we all know how those professors like to keep their rooms feeling like Antartica.
