WHAT TO WEAR: Day to Night

When it comes to the summer, there are so many events and activities happening. From outdoor concerts to going to the beach, the summer is filled with tons of fun things to do. Everyone’s having a great time, but sometimes you don’t have time to change in between all of these activities. Sometimes you need to find an outfit that can be appropriate for a variety of activities. That’s exactly what this Fashionista did.

This Fashionista started off with a basic maxi dress in a fun pattern. This is great because I feel like a maxi dress is one of the most versatile pieces someone can own. It can be dressed down with flip flops or over worn over a swimsuit as a beach coverup. It can also be dressed up with heels and glamorous accessories. This Fashionista found a good middle ground, which could perfectly transition her from day to night. The fun Aztec print of the dress really makes it stand out. This Fashionista topped the dress with a cropped denim jacket. This not only added some cute contrast to the dress, but it also served as a great transition piece into night. Even though it is summer, in some places, it can still get a little chilly at night. A light denim jacket will do just the trick to keep you stylish and snug.

This Fashionista finished off the look with a pair of black sandals with an intricate design, a couple of bracelets and some simple studs. First off, I adore these shoes. They are, in my opinion, the perfect summer shoe. They are the epitome of day to night. Her jewelry was a nice choice because given the simplicity of the outfit, it makes sense that she didn’t pile on too many accessories.

This look was simple, stylish and stunning. It’s a perfect outfit for an activity packed summer day. You could start your day at an open air market and end the day at a concert and this look would be perfect for those activities, plus everything in-between.

One Simple Change: To transition this look into the fall, switch the denim jacket for a leather jacket and the patterned maxi for a solid one. This will still be versatile but will be more appropriate for when the weather starts getting colder.
