WHAT TO WEAR: Day to Night

Sitges is a city along the Iberian coastline about 35 minutes outside of Barcelona. It is filled with an abundance of delicious restaurants and tapas bars, too many shoe shops to count, as well as historic churches and architecture. It’s a posh tourist hub and boasts fantastic nightlife and street style. This lovely coastal haven is where I scouted out this week’s fabulous Fashionista whose look goes from day to night effortlessly!

How does one transition her style from the daytime heat of the Spanish coast to something equally fashionable for the evening? Dresses, my darlings, are the way to go. They are easy to throw on, allow for lots of movement and don’t require any mixing or matching. This Fashionista chose a very chic shift dress in a pale pink color that brings out her gorgeous tan. Another plus? This shade is wonderful for daytime (lighter colors are much cooler) but still super sophisticated for a transition to evening. The simple shape means there is plenty of room for accessorizing, such as with all those amazing gemstones sprinkled over the fabric.

As far as accessories are concerned, this Fashionista chose simple but stunning pieces. That beaded clutch is to die for! It matches perfectly with the detailing of the dress and adds a bit of extra sparkle to help transition to an evening out. Her classic watch balances well with those ultra trendy sunglasses and tops off her fun ruffled sandals perfectly.

One Simple Change: Did your fun in the sun lead to a night of dancing? Tuck your sunnies into your clutch and swap out the sandals for some wedges. They’ll make your legs look miles long and are comfy and supportive enough to keep you on the dance floor well beyond closing time!
