WHAT TO WEAR: Class

If you are taking classes this summer, putting together an outfit can be a little tricky. You want to look nice and appropriate, but at the same time you want to wear light and comfortable pieces. When you are debating what to wear to class, find a middle ground that is casual but chic like our Fashionista did.

Our Fashionista’s look is easy to replicate and make your own. She paired a three-quarter length sleeved tee with a denim skirt, Jack Rogers sandals, Alex and Ani bangles, a Michael Kors watch and diamond studs. The T-shirt gives her look a nice pop of color and complements the denim skirt. Forever 21 sells a similar T-shirt that has red in it. You can get a pencil denim skirt from Levi Brand Jeans that rests a few inches above the knee. Her sandals are comfortable enough to walk across campus, but she recommends that you wear them a few times and break them in to maximize comfort. Alex and Ani bangles are wildly popular right now and great for mixing and matching. This look is fashionable because it is classic. You do not need many embellishments for class, and this outfit has some personality without being too distracting.

One Simple Change: Add a cross-body to the outfit when you are running errands. The cross-body is not too small for essential items to fit in it or too large to get in your way. It will hold all of your essential items and will make it easy for you to check off items on your to-do list.
