WHAT TO WEAR: Class

February 1st, 2016 at 2:00am

Spring semester has officially begun. Returning from the warm comfort of home cooked meals and Netflix all day every day, it is finally time to get back to the grind. What better way to start off the new year and the new semester than with some fashion inspiration? While on campus I found this Fashionista working this perfect chic and simplistic outfit and had to share the details!

Being that I attend a school in South Florida, the chance of cold weather only comes a few times a year. January is one of the months where you can almost guarantee at the least a cooler breeze. This year the temperature has definitely dropped, and with that drop cozier clothing is a must!

This Fashionista nailed the back-to-school look with this outfit. She has paired the comfort of a classic pair of black leggings with a gorgeous and cozy maroon PIKO sweater. Pairing the sweater over top a neutral toned bralette adds a subtle pop of lace. I loved how she paired the lightweight pendant necklace over her sweater for a pop of metallic detail. We also cannot ignore my favorite part of this outfit, the shoes! These taupe wedge booties are so cool and chic, and extremely light! This Fashionista swears by these shoes, she says they are perfect for any occasion and can be worn for hours with no pain! They added the perfect amount of sass to her simple class outfit.

This whole outfit exemplifies an ideal look for going to class. Each of the pieces are very comfortable, which make it quick to throw on in the morning and gives you more time to stop by Starbucks for that much-needed coffee before class.

One Simple Change: Just finished your last class of the week and you’re ready to go out and celebrate with the girls? Take this outfit from day to night with a few quick changes! Switch out the black leggings with either distressed denim jeans or if you’re feeling adventurous throw on those leather leggings you’ve been dying to wear. Accessorize with a chunky necklace and your favorite heeled booties. A spritz of perfume and a pop of color on your lip and you’ll be ready to own it out on the town.
