WHAT TO WEAR: Celebration

August 5th, 2015 at 2:00am

You’ve just been invited to a party, and for once you don’t have to work this summer! Of course, the first thing that comes to most of our minds is to go shopping. We all want to walk into the room feeling and looking amazing; however, many times we don’t realize we already have the necessities in our closet to put together a trendsetting outfit in no time! This Fashionista was on her way to celebrate her mom’s birthday with her family and didn’t have any problems digging into her wardrobe and stepping out making a fashionable statement.

The first thing that caught my attention were her boots! This Fashionista paired a pair of knee-high boots embellished with crystals and many layers of belts. Peeping from her boots are a pair of knee-high socks to give her a little edge and to keep her feet from getting too hot in this summer heat. Moving our way up, tulle is making its grand entrance! To complement her long legs, she threw on her favorite soft pink tulle midi skirt. This skirt is perfect for the summer; it isn’t too long nor too short to wear to a family event, and the thin tulle keeps you cool in the summer heat. To spice things up, she tucked in her denim chambray and paired a brown belt around her waist. To pull everything together, she added a pop of color! This Fashionista is rocking a gorgeous teal green cross-body bag that is just the right size to throw in her favorite lippie and her cellphone, of course. This outfit is screaming rustic princess from head to toe and is sure to keep the guests at the party talking all night long!

One Simple Change: You can do so much with this outfit! Since it was a little windy that day, I would have suggested adding a wide brim hat to spice things up. She could wear a pair of heels, flats or even a shorter boot. The options for shoes are also endless!
