WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

July 16th, 2015 at 2:00am

Brunch is simply fabulous. What college student, or anyone for that matter doesn’t love the freedom of eating breakfast food at 1:00 p.m.? Nothing is quite comparable to the combination of bottomless mimosa and pancakes along with good company. The weekend events give you the perfect opportunity to show off your casual fashion style.

This Fashionista is rocking a lot of trends seen this summer, including gladiator short-heeled booties, a slouchy off-the-shoulder top, and a felt hat. It is past the Fourth of July and the weather keeps heating up in the Pacific Northwest; this means it is time to find some shade. This Fashionista decided to make her own shade with her short-brimmed hat. A hat like this is a great way to keep the blistering sun out of your face and also look good while doing it. The approach to the off-the-shoulder effortless look is to let it be the focal point by pairing it with a simple pant, such as this Fashionista did with her denim skinny jean.

Gladiator heeled sandals go great with many outfits, but my favorite way to wear this is with skinny jeans and a casual shirt. The accent of the fringe is so versatile it takes outfits from a music festival style to office wear whenever you choose.

One Simple Change: To make this outfit transform from day to night, just switch out the gladiator heeled sandals to a strappy heel. Changing the shoes dresses up the whole outfit to go out to dinner or celebrate the weekend with some friends.
