STYLE GURU STYLE: White and Black

It seems the weather is now starting to warm up to the point where we can being pulling out our lighter colored clothing out of our wardrobe. Since I for one always reference winter with dark colors and jewel tones, I tend to push my creme and pastel clothing aside. So although I am going to miss the cold weather, I am excited to start pulling these pieces out again. While I can’t get rid of wearing black completely, I found a way to incorporate it as well.

This brings to one of my favorite lines for this spring which is the Public School spring 2016 menswear collection. I absolutely love having a pop of bright white to really add a clean and cool spin on an outfit. Even though this line is geared toward men, I definitely enjoy taking the influence and making it wearable for me. My favorite part of their collection is their constant ability to create streamlined street style while utilizing a lot of all-black and all-white pieces. They definitely have a knack for making anything look modern yet trendy with their laid back look. It helps you to look dressed up but still comfortable as can be. Which transitions to my inspired outfit; I chose to go with a black T-shirt with white logos paired with a white blazer perfect for transitioning. I added contrast with some ripped black jeans and my all black leather old-school Vans.

This will easily become a staple outfit for the season. Since not only is it always easy to pair black and white but because of how clean and sleek it always tends to look at the same time.
