As a Fashionista/o, you always have to be a season ahead. Even though it is still winter, there is nothing wrong with converting some fall looks to your winter wardrobe. A brilliant transition would be the looks from Acne Studios pre-fall 2015 collection. You can easily integrate their pre-fall color scheme to your own everyday winter clothing. Not only is the color palette they presented on the runway workable for winter, but the fabrics and textures they used can be worn this season too. Acne Studios pre-fall collection consisted of different sweater materials that would be perfect for keeping you warm on chilly days. Another eye-catching aspect of their collection is the pairing of sweaters and leathers. Whether it be matte, shiny or patent, Acne Studios did a beautiful job of mixing soft pieces with edgy ones.
I decided to recreate my own Acne Studios pre-fall look. To start off, I chose a blush eyelash sweater as my main piece of the look. The great thing about eyelash sweaters are that they are warm and they give the outfit some movement and texture. Of course, I had to pair the sweater with some leather joggers to mimic the looks on the runway. Sometimes leather pants can get uncomfortable. So opting for leather joggers allow you to be trendy and have more breathable pants. Keeping it simply, I topped off my outfit with an oversized cream coat and off-white Converse.
Comparing the pre-fall trends to the current ones, there were many similarities between the two. You should definitely keep an open mind when looking for trends. Just because the trend is not that season, doesn’t mean it won’t work.
