STYLE GURU STYLE: Pretty in Patterns

When I think about Moschino, I see bright patterns and fun designs. Jeremy Scott has created some of my favorite collections. While I wish I could wear his latest creations from the Moschino resort 2016 collection, I personally can’t pull off wearing a dress that looks like a price tag—or afford it. So I try and incorporate the same fun that Scott does into his creations by wearing pieces with patterns. Even though the patterns I like to wear aren’t as bold as the ones Scott uses in his collection, I still try and make whatever pattern I wear the focal point of my look!

What’s important when taking inspiration from someone else is to make it your own. I picked this romper because I love the subtle print; it makes it easy to be comfortable too. I’ve been kind of obsessed with rompers lately. They are really easy to throw on and look cute during the summer. Comfort and ease are the two biggest concerns for my clothing when it’s summer! When it gets colder later in the day, I like to throw on my favorite cardigan from American Eagle Outfitters. I wear this cardigan with everything; the neutral color makes it versatile for any occasion! The sandals I’m wearing are one of those pieces I have had for years and would wear time to time, but lately they have been one of my go-to pairs of shoes! I love the design of the shoe and they are surprisingly comfy. In my experience, it can usually be hit or miss with sandals. And to top off my look I added my favorite golden rings and necklace!
