STYLE GURU STYLE: Party With Palazzo Pants

Summer is here and vacation time is among us!  This weekend I went away with my family for the Fourth of July. As I was packing for my mini-getaway, I realized most of my time would be spent by the pool. Just because I was going to be soaking up the sun’s rays did not mean I could not be fashionable while I was lounging. I figured this was the perfect time to put together this Cavalli-inspired outfit from the 2016 resort Line. I am drawn to the use of patters and colors exhibited in the designs.

As I have said in one of my earlier posts, trends come full circle. In the ’70s large flared bottoms were all the rage. Now, I have noticed more and more designers using the same pant silhouettes in their summer designs.  I am loving it! I think my 5-year-ago self would say “there’s no way I am straying from the skinnies,” but that is what I love about fashion. Trends change so rapidly. Style.com did a great article on how to style and wear palazzo pants. The items they chose to pair with the palazzo pants were extremely chic and can be recreated for much less cost.

I am wearing these great, comfy and wide-legged palazzo pants with a cropped tank top. As for accessories, I am wearing some large-framed shades. My hair is out of my face (which is so great on a hot Florida day) with the half-up half-down top knot style. This hairstyle has been flooding the fashion scene lately and it takes no time at all to achieve!

Get My Look: 1. Palazzo pants. 2. White cropped tank top. 3. Foil shades.
