STYLE GURU STYLE: On That Funky Flow

2015’s fall fashion lines had some amazing pieces and a few that I’ve been obsessing over come from the Pam & Gela ready-to-wear collection. I’ve just started putting together my spring wardrobe because this past week the temperatures on my quaint Upstate New York campus finally reached over 40 degrees! So, of course, the moment it felt a little warm outside I instantly overreacted and threw on shorts. While it may not be summer yet (or even spring), it is time to start moving your down coats and knit sweaters to the back of the closet.

My outfit is inspired by two cute looks from this collection: look two and 24. Combining the essence of both, not to mention a little of my own personal style, I put together an edgy but flirty look that let me embrace the coming warm weather while not freezing in the mean time.

My outfit is a more casual approach to the looks I loved from this collection. I took a cute graphic lightweight sweater and combined it with shorts and stockings. I also added a few necklaces to spice the outfit up and an additional wrap cardigan to make sure I stayed warm. In the collection, we can see that every look is finished off with a pair of simple black heels, so that is where my inspiration came from. This look is great for going to class or on a lunch date. It keeps you warm, while reminding you that spring is just around the corner!

Get My Look: 1. A funky hat. 2. A pair of black heels. 3. A lightweight sweater.
