The models rocked over-the-knee, mid-calf and ankle styles of this sandal creating a splash in the fashion world. These lace-up beauties have been seen this summer in stores ranging from Steve Madden to Barneys. They are officially becoming women’s “warm weather thigh high boots,” according to StyleCaster.
Gladiator sandals were ranked number one this summer as the top shoe trending for women. Taking inspiration from Rodarte’s beautiful “warrior” shoes this spring, I fearlessly rocked my own rendition of the gladiator sandal.
Steve Madden provided me with my funky mid-calf, brown fringe sandals that have quickly become a staple in my wardrobe for summer. The unique part of Rodarte’s spring runway was that each model wore a different style and type of gladiator. The shoe comes in so many different designs that it allows women to still express their own unique flair within the trend.
I paired my RAD sandals with a loose white dress and my favorite maroon colored hat. Since the gladiator sandals are the eye-catching piece of my outfit, I chose to wear a simple dress and add some basic accessories.
Even though the mad love for gladiator sandals may fade, fashion is each person’s unique style and that’s what keeps Fashionistas coming back for more.
