Fashion Week is a time when all of us Fashionistas become complete fan girls and guys whether we’re at the shows themselves or looking at pictures on our computer screens. One of my favorite shows from this passed Fashion Week was the Louis Vuitton spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection. The show was a mix between technology and nature giving it a new age and edgy bohemian vibe. With tons of leather moto jackets and metallic skirts it made you want to be a cyber princess; yet with the peasant dresses and crop tops it also made you want to be the queen of Coachella.
I’m a sucker for a good leather look which is why this collection really stood out to me. I thought it was so edgy and fun but wanted to incorporate it into a look for the typical girl on the go. Sometimes we have so many things to do in a day and all we want to do is be comfortable, but the Fashionista in us says we have to do it in style.
For this look I paired a pair of liquid leather leggings from JCPenney with a trendy sweatshirt from Forever 21, and finished it off with a leather jacket also from Forever 21. To continue with the sporty look I added my trusty white Converse and I was ready to go!
The great thing about trends like this one is that they can be so versatile. A leather jacket can be dressed up or dressed down, and can be incorporated into just about any look. Also in today’s world you can find just about every article clothing in the leather variety, so there’s something for everyone! Sometimes it’s hard to keep it casual while still being stylish but it is always possible!
