There is nothing I love more than the winter and changing seasons, which bring new beginnings. New beginnings can range from love to traveling, but for Fashionistas/os, it means finding ways to be warm while still looking fabulous. The A Détacher fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection is the epitome of comfort and chic by creating classic winter looks with loose fitting cable knits and belted cardigans paired with minimal accessories to achieve a perfect look that not only can brave the cold but also looks effortlessly put together for your day out.
Taking inspiration from this collection, I created my look for a busy day running around the city with two things in mind, comfort and classic. I decided to layer this standout belted cable knit cardigan over an Urban Outfitters plunge lace-up top to keep warm on this notoriously windy day. The cardigan’s asymmetrical look, when tied, gives off a carefree vibe, which I personally love to do with any of my outfits.
Winter white is also in full storm, and I have been 100 percent embracing it. To make the look really stand out from the gray pieces on top, these gently ripped white jeans are a great touch. To finish the look, minimal accessories were key in the collection, with only necklaces and bags needed to pull together the simple and fashionable looks. To do the same, I wore a Swarovski necklace with a warm leather tote and tan boots.
