Hey college Fashionistas! I am Tiffany and I’m so excited to be able to showcase my style, through writing and fashion this spring semester. I’m a sophomore at The College of New Jersey and I’m currently on track to be a marketing major with a minor in journalism and professional writing. Although my major and minor aren’t fashion geared, I’m working hard to make sure my dreams of finding the perfect career in the fashion industry become true.

I’m a recently proclaimed New York City enthusiast as I just finished interning for a stylist studio in the city. Although I had the opportunity to be back stage at New York Fashion Week 2015, attend many collection previews and work with a slew of talent throughout my fall semester, my biggest feat as an intern was learning how to navigate the subway. I consider myself a full time go-getter, but I have a true knack for procrastinating, prolonged napping and starting a new Netflix series with no regard to my responsibilities. I spend a lot of my time working as a jean expert and stylist at American Eagle Outfitters. I’ve worked with the company for a little over three and a half years now.

Unfortunately, I have a self-diagnosed shopping problem that has taken over my closet space, will power and money. Right now, my favorite accessory is my pink stone cuff bracelet. I really enjoy large cups of coffee, oversized sweaters and spontaneous lunch dates. My most recent obsession is anything with sequins. Just like many other collegiates, I have a relapsed case of Bieber Fever. I’m obsessed with Justin Bieber’s new album. I’m also newly into dark colored lipsticks and stains. I’ve never been a beauty expert, but I think a good lip color can accent any outfit. In my free time I like entering online contests, updating my resume and finding new fashion blogs to follow.

I’m also a social media aficionado. I find a lot of my inspiration through social media. I love being able to see what Fashionistas on the other side of the world find trendy. Someday, I hope to study at the University of the Arts London, whether it’s a study abroad program or a post-graduate program. My biggest aspiration is to one day work alongside Stacy London. Her advocacy for women empowerment speaks to me. Also, I love Dr. Seuss quotes. My favorite one is, “unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” I think it’s so important to be your biggest fan. If you want something, you need to make it happen for yourself.
