Coming at you live, from the summer of 2016, my name is Richelle, also known as Chelle, your Style Guru at University of North Carolina at Greensboro (all summer ’16). I am so excited to finish my senior year of college strong and bring Fashionistas/os more content to the CollegeFashionista site. This year was already full of so much inspiration, like Beyoncé’s new album Formation and the sudden passing of one of the greatest, Prince. After recently cutting my hair and adding new, cool pieces to my closet, I think this summer is promising.
All in all, I’m looking forward to finding the most creative outfits and hopefully creating a few great looks of my own, starting with my STYLE GURU BIO. The top I’m wearing in this outfit has a really cool material. It feels like suede but has the movement of chiffon. This summer I’m really into making soft neutrals a bit more edgy. I paired this top with some distressed denim I got from Old Navy. If you’re hip, you know that Old Navy is like the new Gap. My shoes are my favorite part about this outfit. One thing that has not changed about me is how much I love shoes. These were $10 well spent at Target. To finish off my outfit was my vintage Louis Vuitton shoulder bag, a turquoise charm necklace I borrowed from my sister and a stacked necklace I bought from my internship at Altar’d State.
