Hello! I’m Olivia, currently a senior at Penn State University studying print journalism and sociology. After school, I would love to work for brand’s websites either by being a fashion/lifestyle blogger, or being a part of social media management. In fact, I am currently a manager for the small/privately owned boutique I work at, People’s Nation! I would also love to do work involving event planning or PR for fashion brands.
When I’m not in class or at work, I like spending time with friends. My friends and I are all also very into the music scene, and we enjoy going to concerts/festivals together. Traveling is another hobby of mine; I love exploring new cities and try to make it to New York City for day trips as much as possible. I’ve also been to LA, which is by far my favorite and where I hope to reside after graduation.
Fashion nearly runs my life. I’ve only ever worked in retail and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Shopping and piecing together outfits is something that I’ve found is almost therapeutic for me and the creativity behind it excites me. I started to branch out from what everyone else was doing and adopting my own style by my sophomore year of high school. It’s changed quite a lot over the years, and it is still changing to this day! Right now, I’m very inspired by generations as whole as opposed to specific style icons. I love the sweet and simple looks that came from the ’70s, the bold and edgy-glam ones from the Sunset Strip during the ’80s, and the fun that came with the ’90s. Piece all of those inspirations together, and there you have my style!
I hope I can bring outfit ideas and insight to everyone who checks out my posts. Even if a reader is inspired by one small accessory or part of an outfit included in my blog, I’ve done my job!
In my bio, I stated that I find a lot of inspiration from specific generations as a whole and I like to blend them together and this outfit captures that. It’s comfy, cute and sweet. There are some bold parts of this outfit that add an edgy flare, like the destroyed boyfriend-style jeans and bold choker.
