Hey there, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Nicole Sherb and I am a freshman at Miami University. I plan on majoring in Business and minoring in Fashion. I enjoy shopping, dancing, traveling, photography and taking naps. I am also a signed model at an agency in Cincinnati, but my lifelong dream is to work at Disney as a princess. I would want to be Belle because she is my favorite!
I know it may sound cliche, but my love for fashion started at a young age. When I was a little girl, I had a huge obsession with Barbies. My favorite thing to do was to dress them up and make them new outfits for each day. I would find old socks and cut them into shirts, dresses and pants my Barbies could wear. I’d even dye these outfits with food coloring I found in the pantry. I loved using my creativity to explore fashion and I still do to this day.
Just recently, I was in Chicago visiting my sister who works at Northwestern University. We decided to go for a girl’s night out. Because what girl doesn’t like a night of pampering herself with good food and great company? I needed the perfect stylish summer outfit for my adventures out into the city. I decided to wear a long skirt with a built-in mini that was perfect for keeping cool in this hot weather.
For the top, I went with white bralet that I thought complemented the skirt well. I also brought a cute denim jacket, just in case it got chilly as the night went on. I dressed up the outfit with some accessories. I loved how the necklace added something a little bit unique to the outfit.
