Hi Fashionistas! My name is Meghan Dare, and I am currently a sophomore at Syracuse University studying retail and marketing management. I am so excited to be starting this semester as a Style Guru and cannot wait to share my style with you all!
Ever since I was little, I have always had an infinite love for fashion. I would play dress up games with my two sisters and best friends, styling different outfits and creating different photo shoots. Then in high school, I had the privilege of commuting to New York City for four years. After school, I would love to walk through Bloomingdale’s and browse through the newest collections. That famous Bloomingdale’s on 59th and Lexington is where I discovered my love of Ted Baker London, Diane von Furstenberg, alice + olivia and so many more brands. It was there where I realized I wanted to enter the fashion industry, and my dream now is to one day become a buyer for a major department store.
I would describe my style as classic, with a sleek and contemporary flare. If you were to see me walking to class, chances are I am wearing high-waisted jeans, a girly blouse or a flannel (depending on the day) and my favorite booties! These days my closet is filled with a lot of neutral tones, army greens and a whole lot of orange!
My style is still constantly evolving, and I cannot wait to share it with you! Here’s to a #RAD semester!
