STYLE GURU BIO: Julianna Eicholz

I’m baaack!

My name is Julianna Eicholz and I’m too excited to be a Style Guru once again. I’m currently a sophomore studying fashion merchandising at Kent State University, which I’ll proudly brag is one of the top fashion schools in the United States. However, these past few months I’ve been living in Orlando, Florida while participating in the Disney College Program as a merchandise intern. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending my free time exploring Pinterest, shopping online, watching Gossip Girl and hoarding fashion magazines.

I don’t have an exact story about how I began to love fashion. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved shopping and dressing up. I began reading Teen Vogue in middle school, and soon enough torn out inspiration pictures and sketches covered my bedroom walls. As I grew older, my love of fashion became what I was known for. When I was told I could make a career out of my passion, I knew it was what I was meant to do!

My personal style is ever changing since I tend to choose my outfits based on my mood and what is trending. Yet, I will admit that I am the definition of a girly girl. Pink, floral print, monograms and dresses are all things that I adore. However, I don’t wear bows and pearls every day! I also love wearing graphic T-shirt, dark lipstick and standout accessories.

Mixing patterns is also one of my favorite things to do. In this look, I mixed a striped skirt with chunky floral print sandals. I chose to add a simple black and white graphic top since the rest of my look was already so colorful. I topped off my look with a playful emoji cross-body bag.

I can’t wait to share fashionable looks from campus with you all. Check back for more from me at the beginning of each month!
