What’s up Fashionistas/os!? Every bio has to start with an introduction, so I’ll try my best to make it short and sweet. My name is Jordan Cornell, and I’m a incoming freshman at Azusa Pacific University located in sunny southern California! I’m a chai tea enthusiast, music lover, and will watch any movie involving Leonardo DiCaprio (A.K.A. the love of my life). This is my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista, and I’m beyond excited to see what this opportunity has in store for me!
To me, fashion is SO important because it allows you to express yourself to others without saying anything. It’s a different form of artwork. One day you can be boho-chic in a lace maxi dress, and the next you can join the edgy side by wearing leather pants and a lace-up band T-shirt. The options are endless! The best advice I have for any Fashionista/o out there is to not let anyone else effect the way you dress, if you like it, wear it! Don’t be afraid to take risks!
My daily style usually goes along the lines of classic and carefree, but when it comes to bold pieces and accessories, I don’t hold back! For this look, I paired a black and white striped off-the-shoulder bodysuit (wardrobe MUST HAVE!) with a studded black skirt. Now, this look can’t be completed without some killer black fringe booties! To top off this look, I added a splash of color with a baby pink cross-body bag with a few of my favorite Alex and Ani bracelets.
