STYLE GURU BIO: Jacquelyn Kaiser

Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Jacquelyn Kaiser, and I am very excited to be returning as a Style Guru for my second semester this summer! I will be a sophomore at Marist College, where I am majoring in Fashion Merchandising. I love relaxing during the long summer days, and some of my favorite activities to do in the summer are taking trips to the beach and New York City. After I graduate, I hope to work and live in NYC! This summer I am interning at the Dressbarn corporate headquarters, and I could not be more excited!  My previous fashion experience includes interning in NYC at the Jack Rogers sample sale and the Reiss Press Day.

I have really enjoyed becoming involved with a variety of clubs and activities on campus! I am the Vice President for Fashion Inc., as well as a member of Business Club, Photography Club and Campus Ministry. I like playing tennis and spending time outdoors––especially now that the weather has become warmer! I also enjoy taking Zumba, spin and yoga classes! Shopping is another hobby of mine, and some of my favorite stores include Urban Outfitters, Express and American Eagle Outfitters. I also enjoy browsing around small boutiques, where I often find cute clothes and accessories.

I love playing with fun summer fashion pieces, and I chose this outfit because it shows my current style. Bright colors are perfect for these sunny days, and coral has been really on-trend this season! I chose to wear a unbuttoned collared shirt over a loose blouse with a unique net detailing on the top. Ripped ankle jeans and gold and black cap toe flats are two staple pieces in my closet! For accessories, I stuck with gold to complement the warm tones in my look. I wore a pair of dangle earrings, a statement watch and carried a brown, gold-studded cross-body bag to finish off the ensemble.

I look forward to capturing the summer fashion in these next few months! Be on the lookout for my first article coming soon! Have a #RAD summer!
