STYLE GURU BIO: Heaven Cassata

Hi everyone! My name is Heaven Cassata and I am currently a senior at Stetson University. I am studying public management and although my ultimate career goal is to work as an attorney, I plan on keeping my love and passion for fashion as a hobby throughout my life and career.

I discovered my love for fashion when I was in middle school and stumbled across YouTube videos by Bethany Mota. I immediately became captivated with watching YouTube videos during a time that it was starting to grow. It took me almost 10 years to start a channel of my own, but I am so glad I had the courage to start one. I make videos that range in topics from fashion advice to what books to read.

One thing I learned about fashion is that it is okay to change. I have hopped around from every style trying to figure out where I belonged, but I realized that I dont have a specific style. I tend to go for pieces that reflect my mood and personality. I absolutely love how much fashion changes throughout the time, but I am a firm believer that 1970s fashion is the best. Channeling my inner ’70s girl, I am wearing a floppy hat from Target. I paired it with an oversized knit kimono from American Eagle Outfitters and a Hollister white top. This oversized knit kimono is my absolute essential for winter in Florida. Throw it over a dress and add booties, then your outfit instantly looks put together while still having an effortless appeal to it!

One of my favorite quotes is by Anne Klein, “Clothes aren’t going to change the world, the women who wear them will.”
