STYLE GURU BIO: Hannah Littlefield

It’s a bittersweet beginning to my last semester as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista. On one hand, I’m excited to be graduating and entering this “real world” I’ve heard so much about, but on the other hand, I don’t want to leave the comfort of my tiny little college town and the life I have built here. I don’t necessarily have to leave my college town after I graduate, but I am aiming to work in the fashion world, and I can’t really do that from Stillwater, Oklahoma. I’ll be graduating with a marketing degree, but haven’t quite figured out exactly how I will work that into the fashion world. In the meantime, though, I’m taking wonderful online classes sponsored by Parsons School of Design and TeenVogue, so that I can learn all about the different industries, positions and types of jobs available in the fashion business sector; it’s not all just designers and models, you know.

Let me tell you about a few things that I am super looking forward to in 2016. First of all, my third semester as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista, and my second semester as an Editorial Intern (obviously). I’ve learned so much from both of these experiences. Second, visiting my Aunt in New York City over Spring Break. I’ve never been before, but if I want to move there to work in fashion, I figured I should at least check it out. I have a sneaking suspicion that I will love it. Third, graduation in May. I have put in four long years at my university, and let me tell you, I am ready to be finished. Then, right after graduation, I get to finish my final credits on a short study abroad program in Greece. This will be my third study abroad program with my university and I might be looking forward to this one the most. Greece is just so beautiful.

I can’t tell you enough how much I’m looking forward to this coming year, and I plan on making it the best semester ever as a Style Guru.
