Hi everyone! It’s Grace, bringing you the latest fashion trends from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I’m currently a Legal Studies major with a certificate in Criminal Justice, with the hopes of going to the Wisconsin Law School after my undergraduate studies. This is my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and I am really excited to bring you the style updates at my campus. It’s going to be a RAD semester!
Working for CollegeFashionista has definitely helped me focus on my own style while paying attention to the trends and fads on campus. Although the trends and fads are ever-changing, my true style has remained the same. I’m really drawn to classic and neutral looks with trendy twists and great accessories.
For this look, I created a neutral base by wearing black leggings, a black scoop neck T-shirt and a pair of staple black booties. However, I really dress up my outfit with this great, multi-colored poncho. I absolutely love this poncho! It’s incredibly comfortable, trendy and really warms up the look, especially with these cold Wisconsin temperatures. The different colors of this poncho is what makes the outfit unique and fun.
When creating my looks, I enjoy paying attention to details. Here, I paired my outfit with some cool accessories, such as my jewelry and my Michael Kors purse. I believe that accessories really tie the outfit all together.
