STYLE GURU BIO: Gabriella Wiltz

Hey fellow fashion fanatics! My name is Gabriella and I’m a third year dance major with a video arts minor studying at The Ohio State University. This is my second semester as a Style Guru and my first semester as an editorial intern. I’m excited to be back and writing articles, as well as reading the awesome trends many others will report!

One semester in and being a Style Guru has already opened my eyes to many possibilities. I get to improve my writing skills, photography skills and talk about fashion. It’s a nice break from my schoolwork but another way to incorporate what I’m learning. I never thought I’d get the opportunity to be an editor and yet, here I am! CollegeFashionista is a great place to peek into the world of fashion journalism and I’m so thankful that I have the opportunity to be a part of this unique and awesome community.

I will admit that winter is probably my least favorite season of them all. Since it is unseasonably warm this year, however, I do love that I can still play with a few fall favorites of mine (and this October baby loves crisp, fall weather).

As usual my outfit is pretty simple with a white sweater, black jeans and my ride-or-die patent leather Dr. Martens boots. I also included a few of my staple accessories: gold hoop earrings and my gold nameplate. My favorite parts of the look, however, are the parts that add color. I absolutely love the deep, rich tones that arrive in the fall and stay through the winter so I thought I’d show that in this look. I’m sporting a blue leather jacket that my fashionable parents thought was perfect for “baby’s first real leather” and one of my favorite bold lips at the moment.

Is anyone else in love with the current liquid lipstick trend? I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it and this ColourPop ultra matte liquid lipstick in LAX hasn’t left my lips this holiday season. In my opinion, ColourPop has some of the best liquid lipsticks out right now and they’re super affordable!

Now that I’m done ranting and shamelessly plugging for my favorite brands, I’m so pumped to contribute to this awe-inspiring website for another semester! Stay tuned for my monthly articles and feel free to stick around to read my previous articles as well as those written by my peers. CollegeFashionista is a great place to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and there’s a little something for everyone here. Enjoy!
