Hey fashion friends! Ellyn DeLisle here, back for my second semester with CollegeFashionista. I am currently in my junior year at the University of Akron. I’m majoring in fashion merchandising and minoring in marketing. I’m so excited to find more of the stylish humans that wander around my campus. When I’m not obsessing over fashion you can usually find me singing my little heart out. I’m in Kanga Blue, the all female a cappella group on Akron’s campus and it’s pretty rad. Other fun things I enjoy are painting, eating, photography, longboarding, DIY projects, yoga and watching Netflix.

Describing my style is difficult because it changes on the daily. Some days I feel like being cozy and rocking an oversized sweater, while other days I choose a flowy patterned dress. I like to incorporate many different styles into my look like bohemian, classic, girly and hints of hipster and edgy. Although my style changes from day to day, there are certain pieces that will forever be my favorites. These timeless pieces include my distressed denim jeans, a knitted cardigan, a particularly meaningful ring and my Sebago Docksides that have been with me through it all. One of the many things I love about fashion is that I can express my mood and personality. Being a fashion major has allowed me to expand my knowledge of fashion, which then gave me the confidence to play around with different looks, so my taste in style has really broadened.

I’m excited to combine my passion for fashion and love of photography into these articles. I can’t wait to find the most stylish Fashionistas/os on campus during this spring semester and share them with you. Be on the lookout for my articles every month.
