STYLE GURU BIO: Danielle Germane

Hello world. My parents gave me the name Danielle Germane. In the 20 years of my life, I have learned lots and continue to be amazed by what more the world has to offer. I am in my second year at Central Michigan University, majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Design and minoring in Leadership. I am currently employed as the Social Media Coordinator for the Leadership Institute on campus and serve as a Resident Assistant in one of the campus halls. This will be my third semester as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista, and I could not be more excited for what the next few months hold as we venture on this journey together!

I am a gypsy for Jesus and enjoy portraying that in what I wear as well. Layering articles of clothing and jewelry is something I can always be seen doing. I can often be captured wearing my Love Collide necklace, my Jesus fish necklace and my dorm key around my neck. During the fun of fall, I often layer long vests over my favorite maurices shirts. These pants have quickly become one of my favorite articles of clothing; they are comfortable, my favorite color combination and easy to dress up or down.

Before the semester begins, I want to take the time for you to get to know me a little more. Keep reading to learn more. I have a bottomless bucket list of things I will accomplish during my life, one of which is to do yoga on top of a roof. I believe that wearing socks with sandals is perfectly acceptable and, in fact, admirable. I am an avid eater of avocados. When told to choose between having a dragon or being a dragon, I would choose the former rather than the latter. I use fashion as a means of empowering women and connecting with others around the world. Authenticity is my life word. I am unashamed. I am me.
