Hi! My name is Camila Davalos. I’m currently a business major at ITESM (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education). A year ago, I studied at the University of St. Andrews, and I wish to return there next year. In the future, I want to start my own business, and I truly believe that it will involve fashion in some way.
I’ve always loved fashion, and when I found out about CollegeFashionista a couple of years ago I couldn’t be more excited. I often looked at what fashion gurus from the different universities I was interested in wrote about. I read their advice and often applied it to my personal style. It also gave me an idea of how people were in those universities. I’m a huge believer that fashion gives us a glimpse of people’s personalities. I’m eager to be a part of CollegeFashionista this semester, and I intend to do my best when writing articles and share the fashion trends I come across in my campus.
For this particular look, I’m wearing a snake, animal print button-down shirt, black leggings and black high-heeled boots. For some finishing touches, I added a black handbag and a hinged nail bracelet. I love this look because it can work for day or night. I could easily go to class wearing this, or I could also go out at night to a bar or for dinner. I’m obsessed with animal print so you’ll probably see more of that from me.
I want to finish this post by sharing the best advice I can give on what to wear for any occasion. That advice is wear what feels right for you, and don’t try to please everyone. Some people will love your look, and some will just hate it. That’s life! So stay true to yourself. If you feel confident in your clothes, it makes the whole outfit and yourself shine in a whole different light.
