Hey Fashionistas and welcome to my Style Guru page!
My name is Cailin Sheehan but most people call me Cay. I’m a commuting junior at Rowan University in South Jersey. I am pursuing a public relations major with a minor in advertising. With my studies, I hope to find a career doing PR work for a specific fashion label so I can be concentrate on what I love.
I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for a short amount of time, but transferred to Rowan to be closer to my city. I live right over the bridge from Philadelphia and you can always catch me hitting the city for shopping with a side of tacos. On my off time, I enjoy taking photos for my personal fashion and lifestyle blog and cooking vegan food at a local allergy-specialized restaurant.
I lead an active and aware life and my clothes show these traits of my personality. My looks are primarily inspired by the street style I see when walking on Walnut and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia and from what I see when scrolling for countless hours on Lookbook.
My day-to-day style usually centralizes oversized EVERYTHING and sneakers with almost every outfit. The photos in this post are a major exception, as I chose to embrace the winter season with this look. The dress shown was purchased on sale (SCORE!) and reflects my comfortable side. Although I like clothes that are way too big, I enjoy showing off a nice bodycon look if I find the right pattern and material. I purchased this coat from the chain consignment store Buffalo Exchange. I know New York carries a few Buffalo’s as well, but the Philly location is one of our greatest assets.
