Fashion has always been a love of mine. Style is the best way to visually represent who you are. My style is always evolving. One day I’ll rock a relaxed beach look stemming from my coastal upbringing and the next day I’ll be in a chic all-black ensemble with sky-high heels. I love being able to change up my look every day. I’d like to think of myself as an ever-evolving style chameleon. As a graphic communications student at the engineering and agriculture school at Clemson University, I love dressing up around campus and giving this football town some flair. This semester, I will be writing the majority of my articles from the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. As I prepare for Florence I will be packing light with the goal of revamping my wardrobe abroad. Going from a small town in South Carolina to the rich historical city of Florence, I am excited to see what changes will come about in my own personal style.

My go-to outfit always involves neutrals and lots of fun jewelry. I love layering delicate necklaces to spice up a simple top. Here I have layered a vintage necklace with my favorite new gold bar necklace. I love the look of gold on off-white. It keeps an outfit casual while evoking a sense of luxury. In addition to my layered necklaces, I layered several brightly colored bracelets. The bracelets add a nice pop of color to my look. Also, I am sporting my two bold vintage rings on either hand. I paired my simple white top with an oversized sweater. I am a sweater junkie. From fitted, cropped sweaters to big, boyfriend style ones, I love to rock them all. To spice up my look I added my new Reef Bella Costa shoes. The leopard print is subtle yet fun and helps make my look stand out. To tie the look all together I added my Michael Kors satchel. The simplicity of the bag makes it a perfect statement piece for any look.

Throughout this next semester I’ll be bringing you my adventures in Europe through fashion. I look forward to evolving my style and sharing some Italian fashion tips I pick up along the way.
