Now that the spring semester is over, I am thrilled that my time with CollegeFashionista is not ending. I am even more excited that I will be participating in the Style Guru internship for the first summer ever! This summer will be my fourth time interning as a Style Guru and I could not be more excited about the ongoing opportunities they provide. This last semester was extremely busy for me with school and looking for summer internships in the fashion industry. But I am welcoming summer with open arms for some much needed down time while I finalize internship plans for these next couple months.

Since starting my journey with CollegeFashionista I have watched my style evolve. I am now interested in more simple and versatile pieces for my wardrobe with a few added statement pieces. I recently purchased this bright peach bag from kate spade new york and am excited to bring it out for these warm months since bright colors are always a fun staple for summer. Some other trends I am looking to embrace are fun fabric and patterned shorts like these white lace ones I chose as the temps warm up. I also have an obsession with rose gold accessories right now as you can tell with my new Michael Kors sunglasses and other accessories. I cannot wait to see how other Fashionistas/os show off their unique style this summer!

Summer is such a fun season for showing off your style because for those of us in the Midwest we are so used to piling on the layers all winter long. This is why I am so excited to work with CollegeFashionista over the summer months, so that I can spot all the warm weather trends, like lightweight dresses, fun shorts and adorable sandals.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to a short break off from school before internships begin and spending time with family and friends. Hopefully, spend some time Netflix binging on my favorite shows and eating lots of summer treats. On the other hand, I cannot wait to jump into an internship and start preparing for my senior year at Madison!
