Hi Fashionistas/os! I am excited to be beginning my second semester with CollegeFashionista! My first semester of graduate school at Michigan State University has had its challenges, but I am excited for the upcoming semester. I am one semester closer to graduating with my public relations degree. I really hope to work at a fashion public relations firm once I graduate. I want to help build the brand of a designer and help them execute events.
Along with school, I also work at Belle Row Boutique. I take photos for their Instagram, because Instagram is kind of my obsession. My personal Instagram also shows off my work from my personal style blog. I love blogging and my boyfriend loves photography so we make a pretty good team.
Style and I are in a long term relationship. I think in my middle school years my mother would go bonkers about the amount of magazine scraps she would find on my bedroom floor. I still to this day make seasonal bulletin boards of my favorite fashion advertisements.
I tend to draw my style from bloggers like Danielle Bernstein and Chiara Ferragni. I mix Ferragni’s boho with Bernstein’s edge. If I could have a mix of their closets, I would be a happy girl.
To get my look take a basic loose fit knit top and pair it with a fabulous fur vest and a pair of jeans. To top it off add your favorite hat and some killer booties. Keeping the statement pieces bold with a subdued tee and jean underneath. Don’t forget a glamorous clutch to match.
