Hey Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I’m Alexandra, and I’m a junior at the University of South Florida. I major in Mass Communications, with a concentration in Public Relations. It is my first semester writing for College Fashionista as a Style Guru, and I could not be more excited! I am eager to share my passion for fashion and to show just how stylish students in South Florida can be.
I have always loved fashion and from the moment that I could start dressing myself, I did. Shopping has always been one of my favorite past times, in addition to drinking copious amounts of iced coffee, posting to my blog and discovering new places and new things. I have experimented with fashion beginning in middle school, and I bounced in between styles, from grunge to casual to preppy. Now, I like to incorporate a little bit of everything into my wardrobe, but I am an absolute sucker for Lilly Pulitzer. My style varies from day to day, but it usually consists of black leggings or dark wash skinny jeans, riding boots and an oversized button-up. If I am being a bit more formal or feeling preppy, it usually consists of a Lilly Pulitzer dress, Jack Rogers Sandals and a Vickers Bow bracelet.
My goal this summer is to learn to appreciate all different fashion styles, as well as incorporate them into my own personal wardrobe, while exercising and improving my photography and writing skills. Check out my posts every Friday to see new trends, styles and fashion tips and tricks.
